If your child's interests have changed or your current class isn't working for you, we are here to help. Please email email@example.com and we will find another option for you. If you've made other plans or simply want to cancel your current enrollment, please note our updated cancellation policy below, effective for all bookings made on or after April 1, 2022.
If you are registered for a semester-based class and would like to cancel the entire session, you must email us at least seven (7) days prior to the start date to receive class credits equal to the full amount of your original purchase*. If you cancel up to three days before the start date, you will receive class credits equal to your original purchase price, less a $35 fee.
If you are withdrawing from a class 48 hours before the semester begins, or after the semester has started, you will receive class credits equal to your original purchase price, less a $50 fee.
State of Kid is not responsible for unattended classes during the semester - if your child needs to miss a class for any reason, the class is non-refundable. Additional details on make-up classes are below.
*Class credits may be used for up to 12 months after issue date.
Drop-In Classes or Camps
Cancellations for drop-in classes made by 4:00 pm the day prior to the class will result in a class credit equal to your full purchase price. We will not issue credits for same-day cancellations.
We only offer make-ups for classes that have been cancelled due to conflicts at State of Kid or conflicts with our instructors. Due to the nature of our schedule and our small class sizes, we cannot offer make-ups for students unable to attend a class.
For outdoor classes, in the event of a cancelled class due to inclement weather a make-up class will be scheduled. In the event of inclement weather that begins while a class is in session, class will be moved indoors. As the weather is out of our control, we cannot offer credits for classes that are moved indoors.
