Cancellation & Makeup Policy

If your child's interests have changed, your current class isn’t working, or you need to make up a monthly class, we’re here to help. Please review our updated policies below and reach out to your local State of Kid manager for cancellation or makeup requests. Note: We do not offer refunds.

Monthly Classes

By registering for monthly classes, you are committing to a minimum of two (2) months. You will be billed for your first month upon registration and on the 1st of each following month.

To cancel your monthly class, you must email us by the 15th of the month for cancellation of the following month. Example: If you register in January, you are committing to January and February. To cancel beginning in March, notify us by February 15.

If your child needs to miss a class, we offer one makeup class per month.

  • Cancellations must be made by 2:00 pm the day prior to receive a makeup.
  • No makeups are provided for same-day cancellations, even in cases of illness.

Drop-In Classes & Camps

Cancellations must be made by 2:00 pm the day prior to receive a class credit equal to your purchase price.

  • No credits are issued for same-day cancellations, even in cases of illness.
  • Credits are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

Makeup Classes

Monthly members may schedule one makeup class per month if the cancellation is made by 2:00 pm the day prior.

  • Makeup classes must be used within two weeks of the missed class.
  • We cannot guarantee that the makeup will be the same class as your original booking, but it will always be age appropriate.
  • Makeup classes are not offered for drop-in bookings.

Outdoor Classes

  • If a class is cancelled due to inclement weather, a makeup will be scheduled.
  • If inclement weather begins during class, the session will move indoors. We cannot issue credits for classes moved indoors.
