Beginner’s Ballet

Is your budding ballerina ready for the next level? Designed for young dancers ready to build on their ballet basics, this class introduces more technique, poise, coordination, and confidence in a fun but structured setting. Through music, movement, and imaginative props, dancers will strengthen their motor skills, balance, concentration, and discipline while beginning to learn choreography.

Throughout the year, dancers will work toward special performance pieces to share with family in December and again at the end of the school year in May/June—giving them the opportunity to build confidence, showcase their growing skills, and celebrate all they’ve learned.

Each class ends with 5–10 minutes of beginner tap, giving dancers a fun change of pace while building musicality, rhythm, and coordination.

Ages: 4-6 years
Drop-off class. A caregiver must remain in the Miami Design District and return to State of Kid five minutes before class ends for pick-up.
